now here's the video of our custom-made souvenir for our wedding. Designed & created by my certified artist hubby- tristan a. beronilla. The meaning of this figure isn't that important, it's up to you on how you perceive it.  But for him, it's like a woman (me) envelopes the man (him) with her great love.  We actually adapt the caption "to catch a husband is an art; to hold him is a job" by simone de beauvoir suggested by my cousin- Kate Tupasi.  Tris' inspiration is the wave-like resin weapon of naruto figure toy we just wish to buy- that's why he come up with the slanting position just like a waves. Some may say its a Mother & Child figure, well it can be. -2 in one hehe. It's his first time to use a clear cast as his medium. Their prof doesn't encourage them to use that i think because of its strong smell- just like a solvent. The characteristic of this resin is like a glass; the reason why he chose the medium despite of it's toxicity. which made it difficult to manage.  At first he can't think of an image to compose. He started molding a clay, he also tried a plaster of paris for his positive/negative mold. The amount of tint he put is base on trial & error. Then he come up with this image. woot! so surprising. He used a silicone mold so that it could last. So just for once he made it for our wedding presence!!!!
btw, i made the invitation myself. & i'm proud of the outcome aheje. & here i learned adobe photoshop a bit!

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for attending our nuptial celebration last 16th of July 2011. And to those who helped me & Tris to make the kasal kasalan possible hehe!!!Not to mention my principal Sponsor/s.

We're very thankful to God for giving us those family & relatives who were very supportive sa aming love story yeeeehhh mushy!!!!

We were exponentially blessed with 3 Priest namely 1. Rev. Fr. Agustin Datu (Amparo Holy Cross Parish priest; 2. Rev. Fr. Cecilio M. Tupasi (my Uncle priest fr. Diocese of Abra) who just got here fr Nevada with his bestfriend 3. Rev. Fr. Emil Cabunoc Cortez who con celebrated to officiate the matrimonial rites and to sanctify our marriage. Thank you also to the 3 Sisters who do the mass reading sa church & willing to understand. Sr. Jed (dominican), Sr. Pauline Dacanay & Sr. Jerome Perlas (both Dominican Sisters).

Special thanks to the Good Samaritan like how Tristan would say it. Who doesn't care of the credit. Just wanting to help & wants to lead us to the right direction. This won't be possible without your help.  I am very blessed for having you. 

Thanks kay Uncle Gen at natuloy pa din kahit I'm late. Although I am well aware that I signed a waiver indicating no more ceremony if unable to be there on time. I should have been there 30min before.  6 o'clock plang ng umaga gising na ako noh, i'm just waiting na ako na ang asikasuhin huhu.... ako ang bride. ako dapat bida. I don't want to blame anyone. Everybody was nice to us I know. It's just that nagkamali lang ng diskarte. Siguro kse it's our first time on our generation na may ikakasal sa family I mean of course Mom's gen was quite a long time. Naforget na ang mga role ng bawat isa. 

How I wish to do a public apology sa mga nasayang ko ang oras for the delay. I know I can be professional on that situation but of course I still depend on those who suppose to assist me. Honestly, I really felt so alone that moment. Everybody is present @ Church except me. Gusto magmaganda ng lahat hehe. And take note, I bring the accessories by myself kse nakita ko naiwan sa kwarto. huhu. at kya makulit ang baby ko dahil naiwan ang milk na prinepare ko sa bag hay..... Ganun ba talaga, mga bagay na hindi inaasahan mangyari. Maybe my flaw kse hindi na nadesignate mga role. Eh ganun tlaga ako Bride, ako wedding planner/coordinator/organizer. ahehe. Pero maganda namn kinalabasan I knw in a way. nalate lang tlaga ako sori namn xenyong lahat hindi na mababawi tapos na...

• Carmela Cristobal - Mom a special thanks for being so patient with me going to store after store looking for that special wedding dress. Sa gown ko from Len Yu of Mikyla Bridal, Barong & Gen. Merchandise- ay magulo xa kausap teh ampangit ng ginawa nya sa tahi pumetiks porket matagal pa ang kasal ko may maipresent lang sa araw na dapat ko ng kuhanin,but that's a different story na. Ikaw ba namn magpapatahi kaba para magpapangit-nakuh ang chaka nman ng bigay mo teh.kahit minimal pa ang design once na ngsuot ka ng gown sukat man or hndi maggglow na dapt eh khit anung fit ko sa tahi mu sken teh parang lenkatoots lng ako eh. so I end up buying the ready made one sa kanya p rin xempre kse nakadown na ako eh. so ang lesson ay HUWAG MUNA MAGDDOWN NG MALAKI OR KALAHATI SA DIVI. or kung super layo ng hauz nyo di mu nmn kabisado bawat tao. except if kilala mu na talaga. focus sa mga gawa nila wag sa sales talk. pag nagsukat ka & u dn't feel great wag na un teh, hanap kn ng iba.  Bute nman khit papano maganda nman ang nakuha kong gown kahit may mas maganda pa sana na inaalagaan unlike kay Len na kala mu basura lng ung mga gown kung iladlad sa floor. Incomplete pa ang mga accessories na binigay. Gusto ko lang nman ng fair ate anoh, ung muka nmang 4k hindi mukang 4hundred hahaha patawa ka Sabi nya nun una kumpleto biglnag hindi na kasali the next visit ko, hindi nmn ako nagkulang ng follow up teh exxag nga ako sa ff ip. ngok ka talaga. Style mu papadagdag kapa. ay nkuh nmna i'm nice namn eh baket nman ganun ka teh Paraparaan ka eh noh!.pambihira. At least i got the fully beaded gown kahit papano. bute Tris was there it's his choice..., at least mukang pinaghirapan.
• George Cristobal- si Papa good thing he is engage with the conservation & preservation of antiques & artifacts that's why he knew where to buy those Clear cast chemicals for resin. I would like to thank both my parents for all their love, support & guidance throughout my life. You have been the best parents a girl could have wished for. You have shown me what it takes to have a successful marriage.... true love and commitment.
• Tin2 Beronilla & Rollie Beronilla- tristan's parents. To my in-laws. Tin2, sabi mu I should call you Mama kaso lang nasanay nako sa Tita hehe, i'll take note of that. Thank you for welcoming me into your family with open arms and for raising Tristan to be a perfect man and husband- chos! haha
• Tristan's Tita- not sure of the name, is it Tita Aura & the other one, super pretty haha.
• Of course Mommy Ruby- Tris'granny (dad side) pretty nyo pa din daw sabi ng mga cousins ko wahehe! 
• Ang malupit na gown ni Nanang, bute nawitness nya ang wed ko, sayang lng tatang isn't there pero I knw he's around. I remember pinagalitan ni Tatang si ate Kate kse pinakilala ko si Tris sa labas ng house at si ate kate daw ang mas matanda kaya dapat siya ang nakakaalam, I should introduce Tristan inside hehe. 
• Cerry M. Tupasi for my tarp & full support & acceptance despite everything. She'd been my second mom wayback my college days when I stayed @ her apartment. & through her I learned my cooking skills. I owe everything to her. So sya ang witness sa L♥ve story namen ni Tris ahihi secret.
• Nieva M. Tupasi hehe sayang wala ka aunt, I know anu sasabihin mu.... These are the memories that cannot be bought ay ewan if tama ang grammar, paki ayos nalng ng syntax haha. English kse. hehe thanks for everything & for the wonderful gift.
• Aunt Ping for the support and being always present sa photoshoot. thanks for being so thoughtful. You just dn't realize kung pano mu kami napapasaya lahat for being so thougthful & for being a big fan of Marc♥Tris love team wahaha. I remember my highschool days, Aunt Ping gave me penny which I used as entrance fee to Grotto Vista. She did'nt knw that pero she really made my daythat time.
• Tita Bot, thanks sa proxy effort ni Ninang Pepa-(sounds like "Salt & Pepa" ♪♫♪). ahihi I dn't get the chance to mingle na eh. next time ulet sana we could talk na.
• Uncle Max from Abra na hindi nagdalawang isip to be there khit mahal ag pamasahe fr Tayum to Manila. Magdadala daw xa ng Barong Tagalog & Suit para sure kun anu tlaga ang motiff haha
• Maevelyn Kathryn D. Tupasi- na nag conduct ng pre nup pix for my lcd & created my tarpouline na gift ni Aunt Cerry. Sayang hindi nagamit for photobooth ang taas kse pinaglagyan nakalimutan na.
• Jeje,Mei-an for accompanying me sa prenup photoshoot with Buchay(form of my endearment to kate). & si Jeje na nagpuyat just to finish my lcd presentation hehe gusto mu yan eh haha.

• Maricel Nobleza & Maper Anne Manalili as my Emcee. My Bridal Car- car ni Ate Acel & her bf Kuya Donny ang nagdrive for me. super thanks.Lagi ko tlaga kayo maaasahan. During my elementary days lahat ng homeworks,schoolworks,assignments,projects ko dumaan kay ate Acel especially Math kaya lagi ako perfect & book report. Sila ang tutor ko. Si ate Liza namn sa essay, creative projects, coloring & everything hehe. I never thought na they were still willing to make super effort though I knw how busy they were sa work. 
• Liza B. Golosinda as my florist w/ the help of Ms. Rizalina Castro na parang hindi nagpunta sa reception hindi ko nakita. Bonggacious boquet ko teh. pati un bridal car decor ganda love it!!!! so personalized kala ko un kagaya lng ng nabibili un pag ginagamit na flowers s ribbon cutting. ay hindi pla. bilib nkoh sa talent mu teh,, joke xempre I knw nmn how creative you are.
• Belinda P. Asuncion, my caterer; nice set-up, reasonable price. madaming freebies, no hidden extra charge! my highschool teacher Ms. Rica Fernandez recommend her.
• Niñojoy Bundal- my LCD, lights & sounds. bat wla k dun mga tao mu lng nandun. ay kumain ba sila? parang hindi ko na napansin. I wasn't able to make arrangement na sa mga songs pero okay naman ginawa mu ako bida spotlight ako.

lenten (lenghten literal !!! )week

Mama said we are going to spend two nights at my Aunt's apartment in Roxas district. Yun pla 2weeks. We survived borrowing clothes fr my aunt and cousin and do wash and wear. Salamat sa siyensya @ naimbento ang spin dryer. This was a busy week for us. And dine galore almost everyday.

We attend mass @ Christ the King Mission Seminary E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. QC

Their tabernacle design was so nice with falling water that seems so sacred. 

I saw Cherry Pie Picache there that time.

Have a dinner @ Luck Garden Seafoods Tea House & Restaurant situated @ welcome rotonda. The tea House is between Jollibee & Burger King if i'm not mistaken. It's a good find. So Chinese. The service was very good.The resto was so spacious. We ordered a set menu. sarap lahat pramiz. especially the lumpia- i don't knw if it is shanghai or how shall i call it. its different from ordinary shanghai rolls eh. I ♥ the almond jelly for desert and everything and the tea also. They cook fast. It's worth the price. At madami tlagang Chinese customers dun huh.  By the way nanligaw si Yuri ng waitress. Pretty nman kse tlaga. "Yuri: Pretty mo, amputi mo. pa-kiss." f na f nman ni girl in-entertain si yuri haha.

Mass @ Manila Cathedral in Intramuros. We do station of the cross there and Veneration of the Cross. "Yuri said kawawa Jesus, napako xa." 

Dinner @ Greenwich just near the place. Medyo kaasar un service. Ayaw pa nila mgpachange ng order kse n punch na eh hindi pa nman naluluto. tinatamad lng siguro un ngkcashier sana kinausap ko nlng manager. hay. Knowing na family un customer huh and bulk nmn un order. Tpos mali pa ng serve na pizza ay naman. I'm quite disappointed kse hindi nman gnun dati when I'm working sa Comelec. I used to eat there all the time. Maybe stressed lng sila sa dami ng tao nun holy week ay kaasar. Di bale na masarap  pa din nman un lasagna. And nag-iwan ng remembrance si yuri haha. bawi bawi na. He pooped.sssshhhhh secret lng. Yuri have a hard time defacating which took us so long in the restroom. So his dad told him, you think of Dora or Barney; or you think of doing photoshop; and whoop, it just fall down haha filthy. Bare with him, he is just a 2yr old kid. Then he came out with a 

BIG smile which make the guard laugh. Nice motivation daddy! haha.

Mass @ Christ the King Seminary again.

Lunch @ Seafood Island in Trinoma. Service was awesome! it's quite a traditional meal and it's actualy fun. It's a boodle fight style. Philippine fine dining. Boodle fight is by the way is a military style of eating where long tables are prepared and food are on top of the banana leaves yuri asked for balloons and the crew granted him and also ate Rhyanne. They also gave an egg with a goodies and a discount coupon for the next visit inside as their Easter treat. The waiter is a boy but yuri said thank you, I love u, haha so funny my kid! My aunt kid them wala bng freebies? and they gave us a nice candle holder. Napasubo ata parang display ata nila un pro sealed pa tlga xa.  

We take a walk @ Trinoma garden. Ayan nag swimming si Yuri sa fountain and all his dress get wet including his rubber shoes. I was able to bring a spare shirt but no pants or brief either. Hence, we are compelled to buy him a boxers and sandals. It took him 2hrs to choose a sandals. We asked the sales lady for the teal espadrille and ended up buying the pink banana peel slippers (supposedly for an infant size), hay yuri talaga lakas ng trip. Ay ang daing alam na kaartehan ng baby koh.

moral lesson: don't let your kid watch Jack-ass haha, I kid. Because we dn't bring his dvd player, he settle for watching Jack-ass the movie saved on his Daddy's mobile so he could fall asleep @ night.

Timezone fever!!!!!tita nieva granted us. luhu kung luho. We bought a timezone card for Yuri supposedly. Pero ang matatanda ang nglaro. We play drums & guitar- I forget the name of the machine. @ ewan na. I will recall that later hehe. It's fun though. Me & my cousin Jeje ang magkasundo when it comes to arcade. whatelse can i say; It's awesome! 

Have a dinner @ Trinoma in Banana Leaf. mouth watering food again, unfortunately i can't eat a lot coz I'm feeling sick again.

Being a part of a religious family with my uncle as a priest and my cousin taking up Theology @ Portland,Oregon; Visita Iglesia has been our traditional practice visiting several different churches (usually seven churches) every Maundy Thursday or shall I say Holy Thursday to us "Pinoys" also called semana santa and cuaresma. This practice  introduced by Spanish colonizer where Christians visit seven great basilicas for the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. 

Holy Week in Christianity is the last week of Lent and the week before Easter. It includes the religious holidays of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) and Good Friday, and lasts from Palm Sunday (or in the Eastern, Lazarus Saturday) until, but not including, Easter Sunday, as Easter Sunday is the first day of the new season of The Great Fifty Days. It commemorates the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Canonical gospels.

Christ the King

This time, we choose to visit only one church due to lack of time since my relatives just arrived here in Manila from US and straight to ABRA because of my Lolas burial. We prefer Christ the King @ E Rodriquez ave. Visita iglesia also is the time where different churches decorate the church tabernacle to preserved the Eucharist. By the way, I saw Cherry Pie Picache there. Christ the King has improved a lot since the last time I got there. 

After attending the mass, we ate @ Luck Garden Seafood & Tea House @ Welcome Rotonda situated near Burger King & Jollibee. Great tasting food.So Chinese. Nanligaw ng waitress si yuri ahaha. .

 

Then friday, we went to Manila Cathedral @ Intramuros to witness the Veneration of the Cross.(which we call "Agep" in Ilocano). We Filipinos have different ways on how we celebrate Holy week. this is the time we contemplate on our sin and solemnly ask forgiveness to God. What matters most is that the spirit of God always resides in our heart, the sacrifice he made for the salvation of mankind.
